A destination wedding affords the photographer (and the couple) with plenty of time to create so many wonderful images on the day before, the day of and the day after the wedding. Photographers have time to do pre-wedding photos on the beach at night. Also to do “the first look” which is the latest fad.

This is a wonderful and very romantic opportunity for the couple to see each other for the first time minutes before the wedding ceremony. No guests, no distractions… just pure emotion. On the third and final day, the couple agreed to do “trash the dress.” The bride did not want to destroy the dress but we went to Jekyll Island where we created more beautiful images of the couple playing on a quiet, private beach.

This was Aida’s first experience traveling for a wedding and she simply fell in love with the whole idea.

Including engagement sessions is important because Aida loves getting to know the couples she photographs. It’s important that they feel comfortable with her so that she can capture and create images that tell the story of their wedding day.

Aida is very passionate about her job and love meeting and getting to know people. “I think that photographers in general are view a bit skeptically for various reasons and I like to think that being authentic, honest and truly personable is what makes me different from the rest.” Aida says, and continues “I have a beautiful relationship with all of my brides and grooms and I’m very proud of that.
