PLEASE NOTE and READ CAREFULLY the two bullets below:

  1. Due to difficulties we recently had with the Russian Consulates we cannot grant a wedding of a Russian Citizen to be possible in Italy, unless you plan to stay in Italy for over 7-9 working days and able to travel between Rome and the city of the wedding.
  2. For weddings in central Italy (mainly in Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio i.e. Rome) the consulate of reference is the one based in Rome. It is impossible to make appointments directly with the consulate. So you shall consider being in Rome and stay there to be supported by a para-consular agency, who is the only authorized to access the consulate and request your Nulla Osta. This procedure will NOT require and appointment, but will need you give them your passports and all the documents which will be returned to you after 2-3 working days!. We might be able to assist you but cannot do anything on your behalf (not even collecting the documents after 3 days…)

To obtain the nulla Osta you shall (our wedding planner assigned to you can help you with that) submit to the Consulate General the following documentation:

1) If the applicant has NOT been married before:
– The real Russia’s domestic and foreign passport (in original);
– Birth certificate (original or notarised copy in full form – including full names of the parents);
