- Cities – Many cities throughout Italy truly ooze romance. Why not celebrate your wedding in St. Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco) in breathtaking Venice? After your nuptials, take a gondola ride throughout the many waterways throughout Venice and be serenaded along the way. Or perhaps, the passionate city of Verona would simply be perfect. Verona is home to the infamous house and balcony of Romeo and Juilet and the feeling of romance is overflowing. The city itself is gorgeous and offers many unique and romantic venues to hold a wedding.
