We are proud to announce that one of our last weddings was recently published by the Style Me Pretty Blog, one of the leading digital wedding magazine in the world whose Little Black Book we are a proud best wedding vendor.
We were featured, together with all of our valuable partners, for the marriage in Certaldo and Castelfiorentino (Tuscany) of Ben and Sara, a lovely couple of Australians who came to Tuscany with their families to have the most amazing melting pot of cultures wedding day. Sara in fact has Persian origins and Ben has Polish origins. Both their traditions were melted with Italian wedding traditions. They had a Persian Wedding Spread – Persian Wedding Sofreh Aghd, a Chuppah for the ceremony, the breaking of the glass, but also Chianti and Italian Prosecco for the toast and very good home made Tuscan food made with locally sourced products but respecting the Kosher guests at the table. The Villa they selected for the reception is a typical Tuscan villa overlooking the Chianti hills around Certaldo, covered with vineyards and olive groves, from which a fantastic fireworks show for the spouses was the perfect ending of the night. I have to thank all of the team who made of this wedding a success! The temperature was at 40°C the whole day.. we had just a bit of relief at night when it went down to 30°C… Amazingly the florist could find peonies which the bride is fond of. It is almost impossible to actually find peonies in August in Italy.. but the cold spring we had in 2013 allowed a late blooming this year!!! Also we could release 3 flying lanterns.. but these were the last one.. heavy restrictions have been applied and it will be impossible to release them any more unless we have, like for fireworks, the fire department supervision and permissions.. which means high costs and not granted permissions… we will use floating lanterns 🙂
