Paul and I wanted an intimate and romantic wedding in Italy. We wanted to avoid the fuss and stress of getting married in the city (Sydney) in which we reside. Since I had been married before, and that we were not residents of Italy this required some pre-planning and paperwork. Francesca helped us all the way along. from telling us what we needed to do before leaving Australia, to meeting with the Australian Consulate in Milan, to giving ideas of how to structure our holiday in Italy around the wedding, to meeting with us on the day and doing all the required documentation, to translating the service for us, and even to things we hadn’t bothered with planning such as a bouquet and a very able photographer in the form of her son. We simply could not have done it without Francesca and we’ll be eternally grateful to her for her expertise, professionalism and friendship.

From the moment I spoke to Francesca over the phone, I knew I found the one who would ensure our wedding day would be executed perfectly. Out of anyone that I spoke with, she was the most knowledgable of the laws, and processes, and took the time to make sure I understood my options. I finally relaxed after weeks of searching.
This past April, we eloped from San Diego to Florence, and I can honestly say the day was absolutely amazing. The We were both really jet lagged from the long flight (and busy work weeks before the trip), but Francesca immediately put us at ease, and coordinated the perfect day. She was also the officiant, and her delivery of the ceremony was quite special. 5 Hundred Stars for Francesca!

Francesca of Effetti agency was extremely helpful in organizing my wedding in Florence. My husband and I are both non-Italians and we had to prepare a lot of paperwork in order to be able to have our ceremony in Florence and we wouldn’t have done so if it wasn’t for her!
