Who we are
Wedding planners based in Tuscany.
We are a boutique wedding agency based in Tuscany, a network of experienced wedding planners. We plan weddings for international couples here, among villas, castles, vineyards and medieval towns, and also on Lake Como, in Venice, Piedmont, Rome, Apulia, on the Amalfi Coast and in Sicily.
Every wedding we plan starts from the couple, not from a package. We look after the whole picture, from the venue and suppliers to the legal paperwork and the day itself, so that you can enjoy the months before your wedding instead of managing them.
Since 2008
How it
started.
Efffetti was founded in 2008 by Francesca Fantoni. Before weddings she spent years in marketing, communication and events for large international companies, and she wanted to bring everything she knew how to do into a project of her own: organisation, languages, technology and people.
Destination weddings came almost naturally. She spoke English and Portuguese and had organised events for years, but she didn't want to treat a wedding as "just another event", so she studied it properly before starting.
The name comes from the Italian effetti, "effects". Then she added an F, for Francesca. Over the years other people whose names start with F joined her, and the extra F became the symbol of a project that started with one person and grew into a network.

Paperwork with a method
International wedding paperwork is our speciality: we check your documents for you, book consulates and Town Hall appointments, arrange translations and interpreters, and keep every single step on time.
A team, not one person
We don't believe one planner should do everything. Each wedding gets the right people for the job: planners, celebrants, interpreters and trusted local suppliers who know what to do.

Tuscany, Lakes and Venice
Francesca F.
Francesca has a degree in foreign languages and has worked in events since 1995, in marketing, event management and three years as a purchasing manager. A certified wedding planner and events director, she speaks Italian, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Tuscany
Matilde
Matilde has worked in the wedding industry in Tuscany for years. She is young, but suppliers and couples already rely on her for her authority and her talent for organisation: when Matilde is in charge, everyone knows exactly what happens next.
Rome and central Italy
Francesca (Francina) R.
In the industry since 2006, Francina has a degree in languages and a certification in event management, and lives and works in Rome. She coordinates our weddings in Rome and southern Italy and speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish.
Sicily
Loredana
Loredana has worked with us on weddings and ceremonies for more than ten years, ever since she attended one of Francesca's courses. She plans our weddings in Sicily and is also a celebrant, leading ceremonies in Italian, English and French.
Tuscany, Lakes and Amalfi Coast
Elena and Silvia
Elena has planned destination weddings since 2006, in Tuscany, on Lake Como and on the Amalfi Coast. Silvia has worked on destination weddings since 2011 and, as a graphic designer, has a keen eye for detail. Two planners full of energy and enthusiasm.
Piedmont
Chiara
Chiara has always lived in Piedmont. She looks after our international couples around Turin, Lake Orta and the Langhe, and sometimes in Tuscany too, in Italian, English and French.
On the wedding day

On the wedding day Francesca is never alone: Chiara, her onsite assistant, is with her from the moment the first suppliers arrive until the party is well under way. While one of them stays with you, the other is already one step ahead, with the suppliers, the timing and the small things nobody should have to think about.
The Tuscan Wedding Network
Stronger
together.
In 2015 Francesca and two colleagues created The Tuscan Wedding Network, betting that wedding professionals would grow stronger by helping each other rather than competing. Many said it would never work. Today it brings together more than 2,000 planners, photographers, florists, musicians, caterers, celebrants and venues, who share contacts and advice every day.

What else
we care about.
Francesca has loved animals all her life and volunteers at La Valle Incantata, a dog and cat shelter in Lajatico, near Pisa. You can support them too with a donation.
She has also studied spiritual coaching, the deep connection with ourselves, and shares it through Spiritual Quantum Coach.
Our motto
